Our 'Every Mind Matters' Pledge

Training adults to support young people's mental health.

Record Levels Of Young People Are Struggling

Academic pressure, social media, bullying, poverty, lack of availability of professional mental health support – all have been named by various sources as contributing to this epidemic of poor mental health in our young people.

Young People's Mental Health

1 in 6 children aged five to sixteen were identified as having a probable mental health problem in July 2020.

67% of young people believed that the pandemic will have a long-term negative effect on their mental health.

Suicide is the leading cause of death for those aged fifteen to nineteen.

1 in 3 mental health problems in adulthood are directly connected to an adverse childhood experience.

90% of school leaders have reported an increase in stress and anxiety amongst their pupils in the last 5 years.

It’s clear that young people are not getting the support they need.

That's why we launched our 'Every Mind Matters' pledge.

Every Mind Matters

When you purchase our Whole Brain® Thinking services, we reinvest your money to support the mental health of young people by providing subsidised places on Youth Mental Health First Aid training.

Youth Mental Health Training

This training enables those who support & work with young people to be equipped with the skills, knowledge and behaviours they need to look after young peoples mental health.

Thanks to your procurement we are able to directly aid the recovery of young people experiencing mental health issues.

Meaningful To Young People

Some of our partners like to sponsor seats on the Youth Mental Health First Aid training to give organisations doing meaningful work with young people to access the programme.

One of our partners enabled Rose from Sistah Space to join the course. Sistah Space is a community-based non-profit initiative created to bridge the gap in domestic abuse services for African heritage women and girls.

Supporting Underserved Communities

We know it is important to your organisation to work with ethical providers and that the best outcome from a procured service is when you know it positively impacts a wider community.

Our Objects of the Company and our Statement Of Responsible Business Principles outline our commitment to provide equitable training and learning opportunities for underserved communities.
